USA is the largest importer of garlic in the world. The 2009 totals for garlic(fresh and dried) imported to the USA was nearly 121,500 (metric tons) valued at an estimated 95.6 million dollars.
China accounts for 92% of all US garlic imports followed by Mexico and Argentina.
