Garlic Recipe for Filipino style Garlic Chicken Adobo

My wife who is of Filipino heritage makes this all the time. I hate it but I dare not tell her this. In fact if you see her please don’t mention this posting. She will punch me in the face.

Garlic recipe item preparation list:

Four decent sized chicken breasts. Or if you are a dark meat lover use chicken legs or thighs

2 blubs of chopped garlic cloves ( do not use a garlic press, this recipe will not work. Again do not use a garlic press.  Only turn the garlic one or two times in the Garlic Chop. You want the chunks nice and big.
Half cup of Vinegar (white)
Half cup of Soy Sauce
Half cup of water
Salt and Pepper to taste

Instructions for making this wonderful garlic recipe for garlic adobo:

Sear chicken (until brown) in a pan then put the grease down the drain. Do this while no one else is looking. Some people frown upon dumping grease or fat down the sink. I am an advocate of improper grease dumping. It’s just how I roll.

Add the non garlic pressed garlic, soy sauce, vinegar, and water

Cook whiled covered for forty five minutes. Keep checking as you want the chicken to be tender.
