Garlic Toast

This is a great recipe for some homestyle garlic and two-cheese toast – with extra garlic! The melty cheese and delicious garlic flavours are a perfect accompaniment to soups, salads and especially chili!!

Ingredients

One french baguette (wholewheat or white – it’s your choice!)

2-4 cloves of fresh garlic, chopped finely with your Garlic Chop

1/2 cup butter (melted)

1/4 cup Parmesan cheese

1/4 cup mozzarella cheese

1/2 teaspoon oregano or mixed Italian seasoning

Method:

This is probably one of the easiest recipes ever! Simply slice the French baguette in half length-wise, and then into 5 or 6 rounds. Mix all the rest of the ingredients together in a bowl and then brush this tasty garlicy-cheesey mixture on to the cut side of each piece of bread. Put the bread onto a baking sheet or a baking tray and broil for 3-4 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the bread lightly toasted.

And there you go! Garlic toast!
